Part-Time Instructor for Human Factors Course

Filling in for an instructor on sabbatical and without provided course material, I created content for this course by drawing on my own experience and utilizing resources such as LinkedIn Learning, nngroup.com, and Google’s UX certification course.

Final Project

The final project, which I titled Prototype + Usability Test, utilized lessons and tools from earlier in the course, resulting in the following deliverables:

  • project planning docs - goal statement, user story, user flow, wireframes
  • usable Figma prototype
  • completed unmoderated usability test using Figma + Maze integration

Example Prototype and Documentation

To provide students with a successful example, I created documentation and a Figma prototype for a mock comic book website. The concept was inspired by conversations with a coworker about his comic book collecting hobby.
